Design: My Philosophy
While I'm passionate about Interaction and Experience Design in particular, I also have skills in both Graphic and Information Design. I've found that combining disciplines elevates design overall, whether creating accessible websites with compelling branding or supplementing physical interactions with data vis displays. Each element comes together to create a clearer, more engaging user experience.
Also central to my design philosophy is what I call Organized Creativity. As much as I value artistry, I also know that an equally important part of design lies in practicality. What good does a beautiful website do, for example, if it's impossible to navigate? How successful is a product if it is technically usable, but clunky and displeasing to look at?
So, I believe that my unique blend of Organized Creativity and Interdisciplinary Practices can strike just the right balance of form and function.
Bonus Skill: Photography
As a part of Northeastern University's Co-op program, I spent July 2022 through December 2022 at JCDecaux North America in their New York City Office. JCDecaux is one of the leading out-of-home advertising companies with almost 1 million advertising panels worldwide. During my time at JCDecaux, I worked with clients to fulfill photo requests all over NYC.
I also had the opportunity to work with the EVP of National Sales on LVMH's holiday campaign, which represented nine different luxury brands across a variety of goods.
